全世界有数十万份小麦种质资源保存在基因库中,且小麦新审定品种数量逐年增加。对小麦种质资源精准基因分型是解锁遗传多样性、加速品种改良的首要步骤。然而,现有的分子标记检测技术仍然具有检测通量低、成本偏高、技术复杂、敏感性偏低等问题。目前,仍缺乏面向育种应用的高通量、低成本的小麦种质材料的基因型鉴定技术。
2024年6月11日,中国农业科学院深圳农业基因组研究所李奎教授主编的家畜基因组编辑英文专著《Livestock Genome Editing Tools》由Elsevier旗下的Academic Press出版社出版。该书汇集了当前国内外家畜基因编辑领域最前沿的研究成果和实用技术,填补了全球农业大型动物基因组编辑领域英文专著的空白。
